AAI Junior and Senior Assistant Eligibility Criteria |
Junior Assistant (Fire Service)
- 12th Pass (Regular Study) with 50% marks OR 10th Pass + 3 years’ approved regular Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/ Fire with minimum 50% marks.
- Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License or Valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV).
Junior Assistant (Office)
- Graduate with typing speed 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi.
- Two years relevant experience in the concerned discipline.
Senior Assistant (Accounts)
- Graduates preferably B.Com with computer training course of 03 to 06 months.
- Two years relevant experience in the concerned discipline.
Senior Assistant (Electronics)
- Diploma in Electronics /Telecommunication/ Radio Engineering from recognized University/ Institute.
- Two years relevant experience in the Electronics /Telecommunication/ Radio Engineering discipline.

Junior Assistant (Fire Service):
If you’re interested in the Junior Assistant position in the Fire Service, be prepared for a computer-based written exam lasting two hours. Successful candidates from the online test will undergo a verification process for Certificates/Documents, followed by a Medical Examination that includes a Physical Measurement test.
Those who pass the Medical Examination are eligible for a driving test in a Light Motor Vehicle, contingent upon having a valid original license for Light Motor Vehicle, Medium Motor Vehicle, or Heavy Motor Vehicle. Passing the driving test is a prerequisite for participating in the Physical Endurance Test (PET), which comprises activities such as 100m Running, Rope climbing, Pole climbing, 60m running with a human dummy, and Full ladder climbing.
Junior Assistant (Office):
Aspiring Junior Assistants for office roles will face a Written Exam (Computer Based Test) along with a Trade test for Typing, where applicable. The written exam is scored out of 100 marks and lasts for two hours. The Typing test is a qualifying round, requiring candidates to maintain a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi.
Senior Assistant (Accounts):
Candidates eyeing the Senior Assistant (Accounts) position should be ready for a Written Exam (Computer Based Test) and a Trade test as applicable. The written exam is worth 100 marks and lasts for two hours.
Senior Assistant (Electronics):
For the Senior Assistant (Official Language) role, candidates will undergo a Written Exam (Computer Based Test) and a Trade test as applicable. The written exam is worth 100 marks and has a duration of two hours.
