BRO GREF Application Fee

  • UR, OBC Candidates Fee :- 50/-
  • ESM, EWS Candidates Fee :- 50/-
  • SC, ST Candidates Fee :- 0/-

Payment Mode: The category wise prescribed application fee can be paid through SBI Collect (Online) in favour of: Commandant, GREF Centre, Pune-411 015

No other mode of payment will be accepted. The Candidate must attach the copy of e-receipt along with his application form.

BRO GREF Recruitment 2022 Age Limit

The crucial date for determining the age limit will be the closing date for receipt of BRO GREF Recruitment application form. Only Matriculation/ SSC/ 10th class marksheet/ Birth Certificate issued by concerned Education Board/ Competent Authority will be considered as proof of Date of Birth.

  • Minimum Age Required : 18 Years
  • Maximum Age Limit : 25-27 Years
  • Age Limit as on : Last Date

Additional Age Relaxation As Per Rules. No age relaxation is allowed to SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates applying against unreserved vacancies.

Syllabus for BRO GREF Written Examination

Radio Mechanic Syllabus:

Questions on electronic circuits, Operation & Maint of wireless eqpts, Operation of switch board upto 10 lines, Knowledge of Morse code, General Knowledge, Charging & operation of batteries, Principles of radio mechanism.

Operator (Communication) Syllabus:

Inspection of tele communication equipment’s, Maint & repair of tele communication equipment’s, Installation of carrier tele communication equipment’s, Transmitter and receiver, Power supply system, Exchange switch boards, Maint of records, English (10th Std), General Knowledge, Wireless and line theory, Questions on condensers and valve theory, Propagation of Wireless waves.

Driver Mechanical Transport (Ordinary Grade) Syllabus:

Maintenance of heavy / light vehicle, Road signs, Traffic Rules, Use of Tools, General knowledge, Use of Oils / lubricants, Daily / periodic checking, Tyre rotation.

Vehicle Mechanic Syllabus:

Operations of petrol/diesel engines, Checking of faults, Repair & maintenance of engine, Repair & Maintenance of fuel system, General Knowledge, Repair & Maintenance of break system, Repair & Maintenance of clutch system, Repair & Maintenance of chassis.

Multi Skilled Worker Driller Syllabus:

Operation & Maint of rock drill, peration of maint of hydraulic jack eqpts, Safety precautions, General Knowledge, Knowledge of drill bits, Periodic checking of eqpts, Questions on oils/lubs.

Multi Skilled Worker Mason Syllabus:

Multi Skilled Worker Painter Syllabus:

Application received after the last date (13 February 2023) or applications incomplete in any respect will not be considered.




Documents required to apply for BRO GREF Recruitment 2023

Self-attested copies of the following certificates should be sent along with the application. Original certificates should not be sent with the application.

  1. All Educational and Technical qualification certificate.
  2. Birth certificate.
  3. Caste certificate, if you belong to reserved category.
  4. Copy of Experience, Residence Certificate.
  5. Original Demand Draft. if applicable
  6. One self-written addresses and Rs. 10/- stamped envelopes.
  7. Attach other necessary documents with the application form.

General Conditions And Instructions

  • The candidates must clearly super scribe “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ______ CATEGORY_______ WEIGHTAGE, PERCENTAGE IN ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION _______” on the top of the envelope in Capital letters.
  • Fill all the columns of the application yourself, In plain and Capital letters.
  • No cutting or over harvesting in the BRO GREF application form.
  • Candidates applying for more than one posts shall submit separate applications for each post.
  • Incomplete, incorrect, wrongly filled, over writing, without signature, without photograph BRO GREF application will be rejected.
  • This Border Roads Organization (BRO) office shall not be responsible for any kind of postal delay.
  • The candidates must write their name, date of birth, father’s name and mother’s name strictly as given in the matriculation certificate otherwise their candidature be cancelled as and when it comes into the notice of the Border Roads Organization (BRO).
