Coal India Management Trainee Selection Process 2023

To be considered for this selection process, candidates must have taken the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE – 2023). Based on their GATE-2023 Scores/Marks and the specific requirements, eligible candidates will be shortlisted according to their discipline and category. The shortlisting will follow a 1:3 ratio, prioritizing candidates based on their merit for the subsequent stages of the selection process.

In the event of a tie in GATE Scores, the following criteria will be applied to determine the final merit ranking:

• Candidates with a higher percentage mark/CGPA in their minimum eligible qualification will be given precedence in the merit list.
• If a tie persists after applying the first criterion (i), the candidate who is senior in age will be ranked higher.

The final merit list will be generated separately for each discipline based on the GATE-2023 Scores/Marks. It’s important to note that only GATE Scores/Marks from the year 2023 will be considered valid for this recruitment process. Scores from years prior to or after GATE-2023 will not be accepted or taken into account during this selection activity.
