Indian Army TES Age Limit
Date of Birth filled by the candidate in the Army 10+2 TES 55th Course online application form and the same recorded in the Matriculation/ Higher Examination Certificate will be accepted by the Commission/ Department for determining the age and no subsequent request for change will be considered or granted.

Indian Army TES Selection Process
📝 Step 1: Application & Shortlisting
- Candidates must have:
- Passed 10+2 with 60% or more marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics).
- Appeared in JEE (Main) 2025
- Based on JEE Main CRL (Common Rank List), the Indian Army will shortlist candidates.
- Shortlisted candidates will receive SSB Centre Allotment and call letters via email and SMS.
🧠 Step 2: SSB Interview (Services Selection Board)
- Conducted at:
- Prayagraj (UP)
- Bhopal (MP)
- Bengaluru (Karnataka)
- Jalandhar (Punjab)
- SSB Procedure:
- Stage I: Screening Test (Verbal, Non-Verbal, PPDT)
🔹 Failing here results in return on the same day - Stage II:
- Psychological Test
- Group Testing
- Personal Interview
- Stage I: Screening Test (Verbal, Non-Verbal, PPDT)
- Duration: 5 Days
🩺 Step 3: Medical Examination
- Only candidates recommended by SSB will undergo a detailed medical exam at a Military Hospital.
- They must be fit as per standards for officers’ entry.
- Candidates declared unfit will not be considered further.
📋 Step 4: Final Merit List
- Merit is based only on marks obtained in SSB interview.
- Higher qualifications, NCC certificates or previous performance are NOT counted.
- Merit list will be available at: www.joinindianarmy.nic.in
⚠️ Joining Letters will be issued strictly in merit order and only to candidates who:
- Are medically fit
- Meet all eligibility criteria
- Fall within the vacancy count (90 seats)
🧾 Additional Notes:
Candidates must bring:
- Original 10th & 12th certificates + mark sheets
- JEE Mains 2025 scorecard
- Valid ID proof
- 20 passport-size photos
They must submit only one application. Duplicate applications will be rejected.

- Rank on Commissioning: Lieutenant
- Type of Commission: Permanent Commission
