• SSC/ Matric/ Std X with 50% marks aggregate from a recognized board.
• ITI (NCVT/ SCVT) with 65% marks aggregate from a recognized Institute.

The recruitment process follows multiple stages to ensure transparency and fair evaluation. Every stage plays an important role in identifying the most suitable candidates.

Shortlisting for Written Exam

Applicants are shortlisted for the written examination based on marks secured in SSC or Matriculation and ITI. The shortlisting ratio follows 70 percent weightage to SSC or Matric marks and 30 percent to ITI marks. A merit list is created and hall tickets are issued to candidates in the ratio of 1:5 against the available vacancies in each trade and category. Reservation policies remain strictly followed as per guidelines.

Written Examination

The written test is OMR based and consists of 100 objective multiple choice questions.
The subject wise distribution is as follows:

• Mathematics 35 questions
• General Science 35 questions
• General Knowledge 30 questions

The exam duration is two hours and the question paper is in English language. Each question carries one mark and there is no negative marking, so candidates can attempt all questions without the fear of losing marks.

Final Merit List

After the written exam, a trade and category wise merit list is prepared based on the marks scored.
In case two candidates secure the same score, the tie is resolved in the following sequence:

• Elder candidate (based on date of birth) is given preference
• If still tied, alphabetical order of name as per SSC or Metric records is considered

Document Verification

Candidates included in the final merit list must attend document verification with their original certificates. The list of documents includes:

• SSC or Matric or Std X marks certificate
• ITI marks certificate
• Aadhar card
• Caste certificate for SC or ST or OBC category if applicable
• PWD certificate if applicable
• Ex-serviceman or Armed Forces personnel certificate if applicable

Verification ensures the authenticity of academic and personal records before final selection.

Medical Examination

Only candidates who clear document verification are called for a medical examination. The medical standards are followed as per recruitment rules. Appointment is subject to being declared medically fit.

This would be considered as the off-line application for the purpose of enrollment.
• A self-addressed empty envelope affixed with Rs.55/- postal stamps (for dispatching hall ticket to the candidate through Speed Post) shall be forwarded along with application.
