WB Police Warder Written Test

Applicants who are provisionally considered eligible will need to take part in a Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) based Written Test. The test will consist of 90 (ninety) objective-type questions with four answer choices, each carrying equal marks. The duration of the examination will be one hour. The question paper will be available in three languages – English, Bengali, and Nepali – except for questions related to the English language. The subjects covered in the Written Test will include the following:

WB Police Warder Physical Test

• For Warder: – Long Distance Run – 1600 meters. (Qualifying time is 06 minutes 30 seconds).
• For Female Warder: – Long Distance Run – 400 meters. (Qualifying time is 1 minute 50 seconds).

WB Police Warder Interview

Candidates who successfully qualify in the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be invited for an Interview. During the Interview, the candidate’s general awareness and suitability for public service will be assessed. The Interview Board will evaluate the candidate’s knowledge of computer operation and application.

Based on the marks obtained in both the Written Test and the Interview, the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board will create a merit list of provisionally selected candidates.
