CRPF Sports Quota Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should have passed Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board.

Sports Qualification:

Athletes of excellence who have showcased their talents by representing either a State or the Country in nationally recognized games or championships, be it at the junior or senior level or even in international championships held under the umbrella of the respective Federation or Association acknowledged by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. This includes events organized by the Indian Olympic Association and the eligibility period spans the last three years from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2023.

Similarly, individuals of merit who have proudly represented their University in the All-India Inter-University Tournaments conducted by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) fall within this category of recognition. The qualifying period for this achievement aligns with the same three-year span, from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2023.

Furthermore, athletes of noteworthy merit who have been part of their State School Team in the National School Games organized by the School Games Federation of India (SGFD) are acknowledged. The criteria for this recognition cover the preceding three years, extending from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2023.

Candidates who have represented the country and won medals in order of their priority i.e. Gold or Silver or Bronze in an International Competition in Senior, Junior or in youth categories with the clearance of the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports (Govt. of India).

Candidate who has represented and won medal (s) or positions up to 3rd place in the Senior or Junior National Championship/Games organized by the recognized National Sports Federation /National Games organized by Indian Olympic Association.
