Age Limit

The crucial date for determining the age limit will be the closing date for receipt of Income Tax Office Kolkata offline application form. Income Tax Sports Quota Qualification

Income Tax Inspector:

• Candidates must have Bachelor’ Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.

Tax Assistant:

• Candidates must have Bachelor’ Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
• Data Entry speed of 8000 key depressions per hour.

Multi Tasking Staff (MTS):

• Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized University /Board.

Sportsmen Who Have Represented;

• A State or the country in the National or International competition.
• University in the Inter-University Tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Boards
• State School Teams in the National Sports / games for schools.
• Awarded National Awards in Physical Efficiency under the National Physical Efficiency Drive.

Copies of the following certificates should be sent along with the application. Original certificates should not be sent with the application.

• Birth certificate (Educational Certificate).
• Caste Certificate. if you belong to reserved category.
• Copy of Experience Certificate. if any
• Copy of Sports Certificates.
• Self-attested photocopy of Photo Identity proof (Aadhar card/Voter ID Card! Passport! Driving License).

General Conditions & Instructions

• The envelope must be clearly super-scribed on the top as “Application for the Post of ______ Under Meritorious Sports Persons Quota“
• Fill all the columns of the application yourself, In plain and Capital letters.
• No cutting or over harvesting in the application.
• Incomplete, incorrect, wrongly filled, over writing, without signature, without photograph application will be rejected.
• The candidates must write their name, date of birth, father’s name and mother’s name strictly as given in the matriculation certificate otherwise their candidature be cancelled as and when it comes into the notice of the Income Tax Department Kolkata Region (West Bengal & Sikkim).
