Jharkhand Home Guard Age Limit 2025

Jharkhand Home Guard Selection Process 2025

Physical Test:- Jharkhand Home Guard Physical Test is an essential component of the recruitment process for aspiring candidates who wish to join the Jharkhand Home Guard. The physical test is conducted to evaluate the physical fitness and endurance of the candidates, as well as their ability to perform the required tasks.

The test consists of various activities such as running, long jump, high jump and shot put, which are designed to assess the overall physical fitness of the candidate. The candidates must meet the minimum eligibility criteria to qualify for the physical test and those who pass the test are eligible to move on to the next round of the recruitment process.

Hindi writing ability test:- After successfully passing the physical test, candidates will be required to take the Hindi writing ability test. The test will contain questions based on the level of Class VII for rural home guards and Class X for urban home guards. This examination is considered as a qualifying test and in order to pass, candidates must obtain a minimum of 30 marks out of the total 100 marks.

Technical Efficiency Test:- Only urban home guard candidates will be required to take the Technical Efficiency Test, after they have successfully completed the Physical Test and Hindi Writing Ability Test. This technical proficiency test is considered as a qualifying test, with a total score of 100 marks and a minimum passing mark of 30.

After completion of all the exams, a merit list will be prepared in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the notification. Once the merit list is finalized, selected candidates will be required to undergo a medical examination and character verification by the police before they are provided training at the headquarters of the Home Defence Corps.
