If you meet the minimum eligibility criteria on the specified Crucial Date mentioned in this notification, you’ll need to take a Computer Based Test. The selection will be based on your relative score in this test.
You can participate in the Computer Based Test based on the information you provide about your eligibility in the online application form. The scrutiny and verification of your eligibility claims will happen after the results of the Computer Based Test are declared. This process will only apply to those who pass the test according to the established cut-off marks (Minimum Qualifying Marks).
The Computer Based Test will be conducted separately for each post. It will be a 90-minute test with a total of 100 marks, consisting of two sections (Section-A & Section-B). Section ‘A’ will focus on technical knowledge with 70 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and Section ‘B’ will cover General Knowledge, General Awareness, Reasoning, Verbal & Mental Ability and Quantitative Aptitude with 30 marks multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
Each question carries 01 mark and there’s no penalty for incorrect answers. Un-attempted questions won’t receive any marks. The question paper will be in both English and Hindi with the English version considered final in case of errors or ambiguities in the Hindi version.

NCL Assistant Foreman Recruitment 2024 On-line Registration and Submission process will be terminated by 05 February 2024 at 23.59 hrs. Candidature of such applicants who fail to complete online submission of NCL Assistant Foreman application form by stipulated date and time will not be considered and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
