- Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery Course from a recognized institution.
- Registered in Nursing Council of Central Government or State Government.

Candidates must ensure they bring a printed copy of their online application form and admit card to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) venue. Failure to do so will result in their denial of entry.
It is important to note that before the commencement of PET and PST, candidates will undergo a rigorous identity verification process, which may include biometric capture. Biometric identification of candidates may be verified at any stage of the recruitment process.

Written Exam

However, the format of the Written Examination, whether it will be OMR based or Computer Based Test (CBT), will be determined by ITBP. The question paper will be set bilingually in Hindi and English wherever applicable. The pattern of the question paper for the written examination will be as follows: (Time– 2 Hours)

Document Verification
In the Documentation Stage, the original testimonials of the candidates will be checked by the recruitment board. Original documents will be returned on the spot after verification and self-attested photocopies of certificates will be retained with the application.
Practical Examination
Candidates who successfully pass the documentation stage will be permitted to participate in the Practical Examination. The Practical Examination will take place at a Government Hospital. ) The Practical Examination will be qualifying in nature. The pattern for the Practical Examination will be as follows:
